Johannes Keevey

Hi, my name is J.J. Keevey, Curriculum Manager for the Hospitality and Catering department across the Medway and Maidstone campuses. 

I have a passion for all things industry related and love seeing young people excel through hard work and dedication. From experience, students who work hard, have a thirst for knowledge and strive to improve their own skills and knowledge, develop into competent and confidant individuals both in the classroom and in life.

I have been involved in the Hospitality and Catering industry since 1996 in both South Africa and England. In that time, I have worked as General Manager of large restaurants, Executive Chef, Co-owner of a restaurant in Cape Town, Chef lecturer since 2008 and now, Curriculum Manager.

I’m always happy to meet with people to discuss their future in the college and into the work place.
