Laura Skillen

I’m Laura, the Exams Manager at MidKent College.

I have over a decade of experience in Exams; I started here as an invigilator, before taking Exams and Data roles in grammar and secondary settings, before coming back full circle at the College.

As a leader, I always try to look for the positive, push my team to constantly reflect on improving and celebrate our wins.

 

I don’t need experience of exams from a candidate, you’ll get that from the job! More important is a positive attitude, organisation and a calm head under pressure.
