Jo Shilling

Hi, my name is Jo Shilling, I am Curriculum Manager for Foundation Learning at MidKent College.  

I have been at the College for 14 years and I am passionate about the students we support.  I started my journey here as an LSA and have progressed in various roles, including: work placement co-ordinator, lecturer and finally, Curriculum Manager. This has enabled me to develop a breadth of knowledge of the department and wider college. 

As a manager, I have been described as approachable, supportive, and fair. I encourage development of teaching practice through training and support.  All my team members feel valued and recognised for their individual skills and qualities.
